Online Methods of Getting Food Not As Popular As Expected

The majority of U.S. families still go to the grocery store to purchase food, with less than 1% using online methods, according to the Gallop Poll.

Although online grocery shopping is becoming ever-more accessible in the U.S., shopping for groceries in person is still the preferred method for most Americans.

With online grocery shopping seemingly on the rise, 88% of U.S. adults have never ordered a meal preparation kit online, while 81% have never ordered groceries online for pickup or delivery. Only 1% of U.S. adults reported they never shop for groceries in person at a store.
